Organisations typically consider their emissions in one of three ways:

1. Scope 1 and 2 only (this free calculator below)
This only includes energy consumption associated with activities that you directly control as an organisation - your owned or managed vehicles, fuel consumed onsite (gas, other) and electricity consumed on site (even though it is produced elsewhere). 

2. "Direct" emissions
This is Scope 1 and 2 PLUS other operational activities, such as employee commute and travel. This is a somewhat grey definition, but many organisations look at this as something they have "direct" influence over. 3. Full Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
This full scope - or full value chain - assessment includes your "supply chain", among other things - which can be employees commutes, travel, purchased goods and services, upstream and downstream partner emissions and so on. If you're interested in this, reach out to us through the form here.
